hello....
i received another green laser pen from focalprice.
this one Focalprice.com offers 20mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black) ,discount 20mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black),20mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black) products, low price 20mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black),cheap 20mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black
i bought this laser JUST TO DISCOVER the function of the front cap i noticed that the cap was nothing i had ever seen before... so i just bought it!
i am waiting for the 200mw LPM from lasersbee... but the laser is sold like 20mw.. and i think it is really 20mw or 30mw. i compared it to a 30mw kaleidoscopic pen... and the beam is about the same. but the FP bottle shape 50mw is brighter.
the laser quality is not the best. i must say it is FOCUSABLE. you can turn with a screwdriver the focus mechanism of the lense... and at the best focus point.. the divergence is very good..... i think less than 1.5mrad...but the laser has some mode hoping.
it start to be bright after 1second... and to reach full power it takes more than 10 or 15 seconds... and the dot hase some artifact. i tryed to clean the lense( you can put out the plastic lense and clean it.... but you must have good luck to do a PERFECT job....with no one imperfection)....but now the "spash" around the dot is sufficiently good.
now.... comes the BEST part of this laser.....the head that have a little spring with a little mirror....(like the Hallucynogenyc review.. of the 30mW Disco Laser)
but the nice thing is that this is the FIRST laser pen that have this nice function!!!sincerely is not so good to see the other disco laser.
a CON is that the thread that should attach the cap on the laser head... is not perfect....... but a bit folded....but with a bit of teflon....it is ok.
conclusion. the laser does not cost so much.... it has a RARE feature of disco.....(the dos oly make CIRCLES.....and NOT undulating circles(like the Hallucynogenyc review), because i think the spring inside is too much STRONG... and does not allow to remain for too much time in movement.... but i add some photos and a little video made with my n73.
i hope you like my review..... i am the first lpf member that review this kind of pen
if someone can not see the video. change the extension from .mpg in .mp4
__UPDATE__ :
1) the power is NOT like the 30mw laser...but about 20mw.
2) the lense seems to be a bit crappy( i used a screw driver to have the same divergence of my 30mw kaleidoscopic laser...about 1/1.2mrad).
i notice WITH BINOCULARS..that the dot is perfect within 5 seconds... then ...starts to be oval... but.. not just oval...but with contours undefined.... like if the lense starts to get too much heat(???from a 20mw laser???).
3)the laser requires LONG time to warm up...initially seems a 5mw... 10mw... and at best... 20mw or "near" the power of the 30mw kaleidoscopic.
i don't know if the kaleidoscopik 30mw laser has glasses lense... but it is definitely the best STABLE and good beam/divergence pointer that i've seen till now a best buy.
i know my reviews are generally very long and detailed.... excuse me but this is my way to do a review.... but i understand that my english is not perfect...and someone could find "hard" to read my texts...
