DX Waterproof 20mw Green Laser Review....

Well my DX 20mw waterproof green laser arrived from deal extreme today and all I can say is I'm very impressed with what I received :)
The box it came in was silk lined with foam underneath the silk which made it look very appealing to the eye. Now the laser itself was very solid and sturdy to hold it also looked very professional with good anodized paintwork.
A battery was supplied (CR123A) which I inserted into the laser, whilst unscrewing the tail cap of the laser it felt very smooth and well engineered (no grating of metal-metal noticed).
The 0-ring was in good condition and felt like a good seal was being made whilst screwing the tail cap back on. So then I fired up this little gem thinking to myself it won't be that bright ::) and to my surprise it exceeded my expectations so I turned it to a black balloon and BANG!!
Nice on I thought now to get the lasercheck to test the power with and without an IR filter..

Without the IR filter it was kicking out 70.6mw and with the IR filter between the lasercheck and the laser, the reading was 52.8mw of pure 532nm GREEN.
All in all I like it and will test it's waterproofing later on today ;)

In a nutshell guys and girls BUY IT!! Because at $34.90 it's a great laser (cheap as chips)

The scratches you see are not on the glass itself but are on the metal anodized plate under the glass :)

I'm not sure mate but I'd say it's usual with DX as you can always expect some IR as they are so cheap to buy...

52 mW.. that's excellent performance! I guess this one is a fluke on the good site, but still, it promises much for this type of laser.

Throw some milk in the bathwater for great pics :)

Now that's more like it! You should put in the water again, turn off the lights, and use no flash! I want SEE this thing. ;)
