....i recommend buying a red laser if you are just looking to burn....they are much more effective...and easier on the eyes...on that note my green DX200 works like a charm and lights matches from 2-3 feet....while my Red MXDL from JayRob makes short work of matches from over 20 feet! while popping balloons from over 50 feet!....no brainer if you ask me...

eh i dont think 50mw of red is any easyer on the eyes than 50mw of green; our eyes are just more sensitive to green light so it looks brighter. They will do the same damage.

but yea red is better for burning, and it is cheaper per mW.
