Yep looks like I'll have to buy some yellow ones. Now to just decide between sellers. Amazon or BatteryJunction. The seller from amazon is in california, but batteryjunction ships from Connecticut.

I'll give BatteryJunction a try using priority mail. What method did you guys use and how long did it take to arive?

Although, there's this seller on amazon who's only asking for a 1 time $1,000:

Amazon.com: Used and New: Kits: 6 RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh LiFePO4 Rechargeable Batteries with a Smart Charger

I ordered mine from battery junction. I don't remember what shipping method i chose, but it was probably the cheapest one. They came in very fast, within a week... and i live across the states in California. They are a good company.

I also have these batteries:
DealExtreme: $4.15 LC 17335 3V 1000mAh CR123A Battery 2-Pack

I've had them for years, only used them a few times back when I got them, but they seemed to work great. However now after reading about the WL battery exploding I'm scared to charge these or use them.

The reviews on the battery on DX are fine, nothing about DANGER or blowing up. I'm tempted to throw them in the charger right now. Anyone have any experience with these batteries?

Of course they would only be temporary till I get my yellow tenergy cr123a's

Frank just replied to the email i sent on 10/1 and said my laser was shipped on 9/29... just 5 days after i placed an order. It currently still says it is 'queued' on the website though?

He also said:

"You’ll be emailed the tracking details once our office start return from the National Holiday at the end of this week."

Does this mean that the package is already on its way? How long did the laser take arrive after it has been shipped for you guys?

Hopefully it wont get stuck in customs and will be here soon = p

Yea I think your laser is on the way atm :) If it was shipped with USPS it should arrive within 7 - 10 days but the USPS tracking code is pretty much useless because its either updated very rarely or not at all. I still have my batteries order status "In transit" even though the bateries arrived almost an month ago xD

lol 1 thing I need to get used to when dealing with 1W is that when taking a beamshot I always find a rising cloud of smoke behind me (I've burnt my work pants, my bed blanket, and my wooden closet door on accident).

Yea its amazing how fast a >1W blue laser can smoke pretty much anything :D Thats why I always have my "DragonLasers high quality laser box" at the end of the beam xD But once I accidentaly burned through it and almost burned a hole on my school back, luckily I noticed it within 5 secs otherwise I would now have to deal with a nice hole on my back and probably a black dot on some of my books :D

EDIT: If you're interested to see pics about my box how it looks now I can take a couple of pics and post here :p
EDIT2: Yay post number 123

Here's something else I have to contribute. A demonstration video. Also showing my Arctic len's with my Spartan. This isn't my big video I talked about, but I made the same type of video for my Arctic when I got it:

It's a shame Dragonlasers haven't anything like this for the Spartan (yet)
It looks easy to adapt the Arctic lenses though, but i think waiting for the damn things to ship would cost a lifetime xD

nice video : O

Can you see individual beams of light when you use that "starry" pattern lens?

Ye can't wait for them to release a beam expander :D Imagine how the spartan would be with less than 0.5 mrad, a burning spot and the possibility to use it as a very powerfull flashlight :D Also i've hear the beam expander makes the dot look more round than a square

If it costs just 89$ like the "old" beam expander im so gonna buy it :)
