the beam and dot are very good for a 445nm laser, lights up the whole room and pierces the night sky, can be seen very far away and hits clouds overhead easily,
much brighter than my 500mw lazerer blue laser and my 100mw o-like green power rock
very good burner, it can-

-light a match instantly
-ignite paper and wood after several seconds
-engrave
-light match at over 20 feet, more with steady hand and skilled focus

this is a great blue laser for someone who wants a compact blue laser that is very bright and be a very good burner, not recommended for a first laser, it can be very dangerous if you are inexperienced, goggles required for this laser.
The laser can run for a minute or so before you feel heat in the body.
