Got mine rather quickly.

I bought 9v batteries at one of my local dollar stores that I usually use for my smoke alarms.

Radiant alpha meter powered up with one press of the power button.

This being my first meter I examined it and even got to looking inside. Hard to tell someone pieced it together by hand it looks and feels that good.
I love the braided cable too. Very nice touch.
Take a look:

And here are 2 videos:

1st one being my almost 2 year old 200mw green olike module installed in Jayrobs Green DIY kit.

2nd one is my tank007 with an aixiz 445 lens

I've done the readings plenty of times and they all turn out the same so as far as stability goes this meter is solid!

I thank MarioMaster and his team for making this affordable laser power meter

Great :D

It´s a good feeling to know the real power of our lasers.

+ I also test the solar power with a magnifying lense sometimes ;)

Testing the sun's energy does not require a lens... only the
full Thermopile's active surface area.
Then divide the mW reading by the Thermopile's surface area in
square mm (to get mW/mm2) and multiply that by 100 to get mW/cm2...
That in turn will get you W/meter2...

By using a lens you would need to use the diameter of your lens and
losses through the optics to calculate any true Sun powers..
Not to mention... you could burn the surface coating of your Thermopile
if you focus the sun's rays too tightly...:cryyy:

What's NKOTB ped?

Thanks.

[EDIT: Never mind, just worked it out - New Kid On The Block. D'oh!]

thank you, damn it is so cheap compared to the other lpm here, and it is out of stock. :(

There is more than one other LPM available here you know Jaxz?
