Well i just wish i had a bit more time (and will) to take some nice pictures; unfortunately working as a photographer just destroyed my passion for it, I went from love to hate and I now dislike taking pictures.

That's too bad Norbyx, you are very good. I guess anyone can get tired of taking pictures of beautiful Costa Rican Models all day

Oh ... I would never get tired of taking pictures to models, but unfortunately I took pictures of merchandise for catalogues and of architecture, so models weren't in the context...:(
Also I would most likely would have gotten in trouble with models, after all in Costa Rica girls ARE gorgeous...

You know what this laser made me think. The James Bond movie, Gold Finger.... remember how 007 is about to die from a laser that should cut him in half? Well this laser would have been gold figers dream laser.... that is for sure...

Congrats on getting this piece of "yellow pleasure"

Pictures are anything but :kewlpics:

Getting a decent 589nm is one of my humble self-getting gift goals this year's Christmas:D

:topic: for the review and rep added as well.

I always wanted to ask.
Why pay $500.. $800 for a 589nm DPSS when you can get almost the same color by analogue modulation combination of a 532 and a 650?

Easy, becasuse a combined color is never pure. Try to put a diffraction glass in front of it and you will understand. Try to make a picture like the one I did with a combined laser array...

He's making a joke. It's like you're a racist, but for wavelengths, because you want "pure" colors!

Oh I get it ... No I am no colorist since I also have a RGB laser that has a none pure white light.

Hey norbyx, are the last two pictures you made, using a fan diffraction grating?
Looks like maybe more than one at a time?
