Wouldn´t count on that. But 80mW aren´t less impressive. You won´t see the 20-30mW difference with your naked eye, just on the LPM. Of course this matters a ot to most of us.

Thought it is logical that they need less time with producing one unit than with producing 8 units :p

Well if you allow me to say, I've read somewhere (can't recall where) that for double visibility you need to quadruple the power. So it shouldn't be a little more visible? 20%?
If I paid 700$ for 80mW of yellow, I'd be very happy, but more happier if its 20% more visible than I paid for :wave:

Well that is for sure. I am very happy that the laser is overspec. I would have been happy if it was On Spec.

The laser has a very nice beam and the power is just amazing.

I just tested the laser out the window, and I have to say that it is amazing, the laser can be easily seen far away as my Kripton green laser at full power.
Probably the divergence is a key factor in this.

That is a beautiful laser!!! I really wish I had purchased one of those but money issues interfered. Oh well, I now have an 800mW 532nm and a 100mW 671nm on the way in PGL-III-C host. I hope mine are as over spec as yours!

You are all welcome, I did my best in getting the best price for all of us. I hope DJNY will be getting the lasers soon but I wouldn't expect them sooner than one week and a half. I really wasn't expecting mine so soon, it just took 2.5 weeks from the day I sent the bank transfer, to the day I had the laser delivered to my house, when I was told that the production time alone should have been 3 or 4 weeks.

I know this much, the wait time will be rewarded when you get the laser since it is just amazing. Will be taking some more pictures today and will post them.

Here are some new pictures.... Got to be honest with you guys, I don't know if the color has this type of facination due to the fact that it reminds us of the sun, of gold or what but it is just so much nicer than ANY other color of my lasers...

Yup, there is just something magical about 587-595nm. I only sold mine on the promise to myself that one day I would be replacing it with one far better.

Well i just wish i had a bit more time (and will) to take some nice pictures; unfortunately working as a photographer just destroyed my passion for it, I went from love to hate and I now dislike taking pictures.
