Hmmmmmm

So - after all the talking to Boblaser - and their refusal to send a unit to a known person on the forum - you show up, pawn off some free "IR goggles" <----very weird stuff that....
And pronounce that you have a 20mw blue laser for review from boblaser. Sorry to sound so skeptical - but again, my BS meter is pegging out here......Speak about your relationship to Boblaser, how you got hte laser, why, etc - THAT is what I am interested in. They were not banned - just blown off due to their refusal to send a unit for review.

the chinese are not stupid either
the amount of business generated from one good review on these forums is well worth the investment of one free sample

My brother and I run a website about Nintendo DS flash carts.
Companies all over the world send us samples to review all the time
http://dsdatabase.org/reviews.html
we never actually pay for these samples to review

/end blatant advertising for my site

Hate to stay off topic but I've been looking at DS flash cards and I'm sure this will help out.

But for the laser you just have to understand that we do not see why someone would spend the money on a blue laser from a seemingly fake company. But I do wish you best of luck.

Ok here is the review.

The laser seems well built atleast for something chinese. pretty weighty in the hand. From the time that boblasers gave me the tracking details and the time that the shipment showed up on dhls website was two days! I finally recieved the laser yesterday. Atleast DHl delivered it at 9am sharp! in the pic below you can see the itsy bitsy box that it was shipped in. the box arrived crushed on one ship. although there was bubblewrap. more continued below

the laser itself seems pretty well built. It weights about a half pound and uses these special rechargeable lithium batteries. the lithium battery outputted 4.5 volts.

here is the backside. I think that boblasers could have used a larger battery. there is ample room but i guess they are too cheap and decided that machining mounts for a smaller battery was cheaper.

Ok now down to the performance of the laser. The beam seems to hold modes pretty well although i just had it on for a minute while i took this shotThis wall is about 35 feet away from the laser. the AAA battery is shown for scale. There seems to be a secondary emissions from the main gaussian emission. you can see those on this picture. there was some small mode hopping. for a while.

OK, let me break it to you. Its made by Viasho, and its usually called RPL Blue. Best units are sold by Optotronics.
Its a great laser.. and you didn't include any real test results nor price.

A saw a funny thing . when I put one of my IR glasses over the beam hole i saw red emissions. I couldn't believe that that a laser leaks IR this badly. So i did an experiment. I took three red gels and stuck them over the beam hole and used my webcam which was set up to receive IR emissions. The little F8cker was shining bright. this is the pic below the beam was not totally pointed at the webcam or else it would be washed out.
