oki so today i just recived my second laser this one is from "bestofferbuy" and tbh all the bad things people have been complaining about them this is actually an excellent laser it came in good condition packageing was ok but no bubble wrap :S the delivary time was about 2 week +

the laser works fine and it does burn very good when focused it lights matches in around 2 seconds and smokes black plastic to hell! its alooott brighter than the true 50 i reviewed from dealextreme.

this laser was $33

Output power 50mw 532nm

battary 18650 3.7V

the focusable lens is nice and tight

battary does not wobble inside!

ill take beam and dot shots soon

So.... what is that Laser's rated output power supposed to be...
What is the beam diameter....
What is the divergence...
do you have bean shot pics...
How long does the battery last..
Is it loose or snug in the Laser...

A few questions would need to be answered to make
it a better review.. IMO

How about a Link to the Laser....

[EDIT]
Thanks for the extra data...
but a Link to the Laser on the site you purchased it would
be nice....

It seems that its output power is more than 50 mW. And it's for 33$, it a very good price for it!
But it's also possible, that you had luck with it.

Another thing is the TOPLaser 302 is the violet version. The 301 is the green version.

Unless they've made generic copies of this one too.

Well, it's the same laser that DX sells as SDLaser 302, and I guess it's also the same module in SDLaser 301 (different host, but same size and style) which for sure peaks more than 50mW.
If you haven't, you should check my review in this section.

By the way, good start, but you can surely improve.

so is the in general what is better? sd302 or sd301?

and haha i know. i just ordered the one. the 302 from b.o.b
i was going to get ur one after seeing ur review. but i dont really trust dx anymore after i orderd this bluetooth thing of them. and it took them forever to give it to me. cuz everything was sold out.

do u think the 301 n 302 from bestofferbuy is the same as the dx 301 and 302?

He means it should be good to replace the green module with a 445nm module. But since the host is small, we can't leave it "on" for a long time, or it will overheat (Shot duty cicle)

Of course, this is for the ones who are used to building lasers.
