Hello everyone! This was an Ali Express find and a semi decent one. I know sites like these are EXTREMELY untrustworthy and usually sell junky lasers, but I take risks sometimes! So this laser came in three models. A 100mW, 200mW, and 300mW. I opted for the 100mW as it was the cheapest and I also figured a weaker 532nm beam would make a nicer yellow. Now I'm sure these are not as strong as described, but it does burn when focused so I'm not complaining too much. The laser has a 532nm module in it and a 650nm diode that can be turned on separately or together to create a yellow beam! It's obviously not the purest yellow beam you've seen; especially compared to a 589nm, but the dot this laser makes is actually quite yellow! I'm not sure what it's divergence is, but it's quite terrible XD. The laser has 4 rotatable apertures. One for the beams, one that focuses the beam (at a set spot), one with a star cap attached, and a final aperture that lets you use a touch button instead of the click button. Yes, it has a tail switch, click button, and a touch sensitive button. The touch sensitive button is the most pointless feature I've ever seen in a laser lmfao. I'm not sure what the duty cycle is, but I've ran it over two minutes on multiple occasions and it seems to be doing just fine still! So, definitely a cheap Chinese laser, but isn't complete junk and it's definitely cool having three colors in one laser!!!

^Neat!

You shouldn't have to worry about duty cycle on those things. When I first clicked the link I was like "wow, a yellow laser"!!!!! :D

Also, I think you made a typo when you wrote "three colors" :p

Gah you're totally right it's only two colors! Oops XD. I can post a way better picture of the beam being "yellow" if you'd like. The beam never looks in person like it does in this picture. But I just thought this pic turned out really cool looking!

It's always nice when one of those "risky" laser purchases ends up netting you a decent laser. I've sold most of my cheap dx/kaidomain lasers by now, but I've kept the actual quality ones. Out of around 15 cheap lasers I ended up with 4 which were actually well designed, and intriguing enough for me to wanna keep.

Many were total cheap junk. Penlasers and other pushbutton lasers where the button would go bad after a while due to lack of proper support. I think 2 were dead on arrival. Many had no heatsinking and the output would be all over the place. Some had terrible divergence or artifacts in the beam.

Ended up keeping two cool waterproof flashlight style lasers with tailcap click switches from DX, and two quality lasers from Kaidomain that actually had heatsinking and decent switches.

Nice! I'm glad you were able to get 4 that were good enough to keep! One of my best finds was on eBay; a company slapped a 450nm diode in a laser303 host. Not sure of the exact power, but my arctic is 1,133mW and this lil guy is way stronger! Only $49 with free shipping and no batteries or charger. It's been serving me fine now for months though!

Do you have a working link please?

It's not available anymore, I just discovered :( I'll check if I still got the guys email address who I talked about the laser with! No promises, but if I have it I'll ask if there's any site they're still selling it on.
