Hi Susie, Please calm down...
There are no one and it is NOT necessary to copy your templet for a business disturging or a purposely annoying here! Otherwise, qualifound will not transfer to Rayfoss! O-like is selling various good products and laser accessories here in LPF and members here are also trust you.
So,please go on paying all efforts on business... no need spend time and feeling on this template. The websites between us now is totally different after all...dont worry!

Just as an update this laser has stopped working twice now due to connection problems. Each time I have been able to find the problem and correct. If you are planning on buying this laser be prepared and buy a set of mini screw-drivers. If I were not such an adventurous and knowledgable laser enthusiest this would have resulted in an RMA to the manufacturer. Power has been re-tested with a large quality IR filter and verified at 475mW average with peaks over 500mW. I still recommend this laser to anyone who wants lots of power for cheap. Not for those who are looking for a nice tight beam, comprehensive warranty or certification.

So the crystals have had it. They are dead. They put out around 70mW now and it isn't pretty. I have since removed everything down to the c-mount diode. This bad boy is a beast. I am guessing around 2 watt. It burns the hell out of everything including white paper. I am going to have to find a lens to focus this puppy. Suggestions? I am happy not all is lost but I am not happy that this laser lasted for such a short period of time. Now you all know about the quality of this laser.

I guess now I'm glad you didn't send it to me for testing, I would have hated for it to crap out while it was in my hands.
From your 1st review until it just died looks like 1 months time, have you contacted them about getting it repaired?
How much total operating time do you think it had on it?
With IR it doesn't take a heck of power to burn stuff, even 1 Watt of IR is going to be a real fire starter.

Yeah that would have sucked big time if it died in your hands. I have pretty much been using his laser everynight since I have owned it. So hours wise probably about 50. Not much considering the shape it is in now. I have not and do not plan on contacting them for repair as I have completely dismantled this laser. And destroyed all of the lenses and crystals and such. I have now turned it into a 2 watt burning machine. I used a small jewelers loop and harvested the lenses. The laser internally now is missing a bunch of parts but from the outside it looks the same. I set the burning focal point to 2 ft as that seems to be the sweet spot before it becomes a long thin line. I think that between green and IR green has more burning capabilities but maybe that is just the way it feels on the skin. 1 watt of green hurts big time immidiately.
