Hi all,

I have recently finished a 445nm 3w< build that I would like to share with you guys. This will also be a review for the parts that I used. This is my first build/review so any criticism and advice would be appreciated.

Here is the main module and all parts of this were purchased through DTR's laser shop

Sorry camera wouldn't focus but you can see the diode.

DTR did a very good job of packaging and shipping(2 days) which was very nice and with pretty much no damage considering he rips the diodes out from dvd players.(how do you do that so well man?)

The driver is an x-drive set at 2.4 amps as recommended by reading from you guys. I do not have an LPM yet as they are a bit too pricey for me but I am pretty sure that I should be getting around the 3w+ range.

The lens I used was a G-2 that I found from an older build

The host I used was a JayRob 2 cell D-mag with a custom head. We talked about this a lot as I did not know the best way to go with hosts and he answered all my questions very quickly and thoroughly and once we finalized everything he shipped it to me in perfect condition with no scratches...

... and as I also ordered the 32650s and the charger which also came in perfect condition

sorry got excited and opened it^

He also did the tail spring mod free of charge!
