G'day,
So im lacking in the 405 department with decent heatsinks, so this bad-boy was in-order.
Shes a stainless 26650 host, very nice host, im loving the style of this one, i saw that lazeerer has used it for his "Steel Ice" build and i thank him for bringing it to our attention
I had bobhaha make the meaty heatsink for this one, i removed the blue triple trit focus adapter from Flamingpyro, driver and diode from my old guidesman build, but, i notices at 500mA, the SF-BW512P diode was only putting out ~350mW but i had a S06J from DTR sitting here!
I reset the current on the flexdrive V5 to a generous 475mA and thermally glued it to a copper driver heatsink, then that to the pill of this host.
I used thermal paste diode to module and module to heatsink for extra win.
Also put a a bunch of GITD o-rings on the fins of the host and a GITD tailcap to be cool.
Here's how she turned out:
With a 405-G-1 she was very stable at 560mA:
Beamshot's:
Another monster to the collection,
Thanks for looking,
Fiddy.
