Here is a short impression of the 532nm 200mW Green Beam Laser Pointer DC 3V
Test was done with a Nospin_Laserpowermeter. Air temperature was 19°C, so this laser might work/perform even better at higher temperatures. Goggles in the vid are the old ones from O-Like.

Peak at 205mW, stable after about 70seconds at 169-172mW. 9mW IR in the output (VERY LOW).

Vid was taken with my new cam and can be watched in HD. Side splash is caused by the laserpower.

They increased the price a bit since I purchased it, but anyway this is a very powerful laser for the price. I would recommend this for everyone who has experienced with lower powers (5-50mW) before and wants to upgrade to a high power one.

The laser itself

I´m going to upload a few more pics in the next days. I want to get a friends cam before for better pics. Also expect a text update.

This one looks interesting, could you tell me if it's focusable? And how is it in terms of divergence?

I love the first line of the description of the laser on dino direct "Bring this high power green laser pointer home and add convenience and joy to your life"
Hilarious!
Im interested to see how common this output is.

Hi,

How did you guys purchase it. It says
Legal Notice:
Due to specific laws and regulation limitation, the product is prohibited from sales in certain countries and areas. Under the condition, PayPal,Credit Card etc. Payment method will not be accepted.
For system error purchase of the product, a full refund will be issued immediately.

Also, is the free shipping via normal air mail (registered?). I've got 6 lasers shipped now, all no issue via normal air mail. The last one the guy was a bit late shipping it out and FOC upgraded it to EMS. Instant detainment and it will be returned to sender without a permit. (I'm not from the US btw)

You can still purchase it, and the Dinodirect will ship it out.

There is a small chance that customs will take it... it's a risk, but not that big a risk, usually the lasers are marked as $10 flashlights and on an xray machine it's hard to tell that it's a laser pointer. Worst case scenario you're out $55.

Yep, like i said my 6th laser just arrived (all normal registered air post).

Luckily the aliexpress sender offered a full refund. I think with individual sellers, you can ask them to take out the label and if one is anal, take out the batteries too. (customs are not that free to always get a couple of guys from different depts together, LPM and bench PS etc). And of course, don't send the OEM gift case marked as "Laser Pointer". :p Just collecting and stocking such stuff before they get outright banned, sooner or later.

DD is being politically correct as a sales site in a sense. ;)

BTW InfinitusEquiitas, I saw your ASKY laser. (the Dinodirect is SKY laser host). Not sure if its the same, hopefully it might be close. Needless to say its always a gamble.

Manafont.com | $36.4 ASKY - 200mW Flashlight-Style Green Laser Light w/ Gift Box (16340)

I got their $32 300mW HJ-301 (ie 301 host), it should be between 50-100mW from the burning capabilities. It hits a 3km silver object with ease.

The good thing with buying from MF for me, is that they ship out very fast, mostly within the same day as ordering, and HK Air Mail is pretty fast as well, as fast as 5 biz days.

Today I was pleasantly surprised, I ordered this laser on april 22, Dinodirect states that shipments to the Netherlands take as much as 3 to 5 weeks, so I definately didn't expect it to arrive this soon.
I've read some negative feedback on Dinodirect online but I have to say I'm pretty happy with the fast shipment and the laser looks and functions perfectly, I'd recommend this one! :yh:

Update

Got the FOCALPRICE ASKY laser in today. IT IS NOT THE SAME LASERS/HOST!

Measured 210mW with the FOCALPRICE one. The bad thing is that it has 40% IR in the output. Anyway, if you´re in burning, this laser will also satisfy you ;)
Also the DINODIRECT SKY host is 19mm in diameter and the FOCALPRICE ASKY is 21mm in diameter.
The case of the DINO laser also has a deeper yellow color than the FP one.

~125mW of green for that price is still pretty good though. Very interesting to know that it is actually a different laser with different host.

I've overspent on laser over past couple of months, but will be getting each of these given another month or two.
