2.5W 445 ms-ssw review! [TEXT HEAVY][PIC HEAVY]

Hi everyone, it's Huzaifah and after having this laser for a few days now, I figured it was time for a review. I apologise in advance for any grammatical errors or spelling errors, as English isn't my first language. However with the ai dom my learned friend I'm sure you'll all get the gist of it

Time to get cracking...I would first like to say I first enquired about this laser through PM to a fellow member of this lovely community. However, halfway through our talks, she had become banned and proceeded to contact me via email. I had no problem with this as she explained that there had been a misunderstanding of a multiple thread being posted. However I was wary and made sure I was PP protected. Apparently Her boyfriend had posted a thread on bst and then-thinking it had not gone through- posted it on his girlfriends account. Or so she says. But hey, I don't know. This laser is claimed to clock in at 2.5W. Now I don't have an lpm so I can't confirm.:cryyy:

She had only recently purchased this laser off living loud another member of our community. However she has come over some financial hard times so she sold it to me for a whooping $250 no international shipping the package included saftey goggles and 18650-26650 battery adapter.

However I already had my own eagle pair so

Despite being very scared that as a banned member she'd send me a pile of junk, it was packaged perfectly and arriaved intact

The beast
The laser it self I must say is a beauty, internals, externals everything. A fine piece of art sinner. Btw sorry for the grainy pictures. My cameras broken and I blew all my money on this baby. So looks like its mobile phone pictures

however the challenge I had was getting the beautiful GITD grooves on camera. The whole thing lights up like...I can't even explain how amazing the host looks. And the focus adapter :drool:
So because I can't get it on camera, I'm going to have to borrow some pictures off the internet.

An easy 9/10

The only thing is the few scratches on the FA but oh well.

I would love to see the photos, especially since I know this laser very well

Might want to try using a photo hosting site like photobucket or imgur. You need to have a direct image link for them to work.

BTW the laser is running at 2.25A with a 9mm lens and parts alone ran about $300 Also there are three people who can confirm this ran at 2.5W and that is on three different meters :beer:

I can tell you she sold it for less than she paid and she only had it for maybe a week it sounds like. In case you didn't hear or I didn't say, she was banned for multiple accounts and seemed like a very nice girl. She was very sweet to me and easy to deal with.

Did she include the KingKong cells or did you have those already? Those are very good cells for this laser but I feel they might be causing your tailcap issue. KK's are longer 26650 cells and there isnt much room in the end of the laser. Use the 18650 spacer with 2x 18650s and see if it still has the issue you briefly mentioned to me or I read somewhere, I forget.

Wow, this is kind of a bitter sweet thread. Glad you got such a great deal on such a nice laser :yh: Sorry to hear about the member you got it from being banned. That really surprises me. I talked with them in a PM, was very respectful and sweet.
Anyway, enjoy your new laser and now you know what it LPM's at ! Sounds really nice. :beer:

Aha thanks! Apparently she claimed she was banned and she didn't deserve it. It was her boyfriends folt. Muner master Oh well, what can we do right?

Sounds like you got a good buy there! I have purchased from livinloud and he has quality goods, as for the girl I think I know the one you mean, the Doctor lassie!? She did seem like a nice girl, pity she is gone. I do try and be very carful here as I am not totally computer literate and our internet is sooooo slow out here in the bush that sometimes you can double post etc because you think nothing happened the first time.
