So this is not a laser review, but like was said by awillis2589, it is sold by a forum member at Survival Laser.

I received the light through USPS Priority mail about a week ago. I've been using it outside ever since and it is the brightest flashlight I currently have or have had.

I purchased the $69.99 kit, which included batteries, a charger, and a black flashlight. (LINK) However, what I got instead was a stainless steel, polished flashlight! Not complaining at all.

Here is the charger - very nice quality. (Now my favorite for charging 18650)

Yeah, it uses 18650 batteries

Flashlight - Stainless!

Threads are very smooth! (o-ring glows in the dark)

Clicky glows in the dark, too!

Has GITD o-ring visible through glass

Bright!

Outside - it has a wide hot spot and lots of spill, which I like.

Some notes:
The LED flickers substantially when it is cold, and gets gradually dimmer.
I really wish it could be focused for longer throw

Very nice flashlight indeed. I have that host with a freak diode in it but know that's just got to have a nice feel to it as a flash light.

You may want to look into a superior battery for that light. The current draw will likely be too much for those cells over time. I would suggest some IMR cells or a Panasonic 18650.

High Capacity:
3400mAh Protected Panasonic 18650 battery cell by Orbtronic

High Drain:
Orbtronic - Panasonic CGR18650CH With Top Button, 2250mAh IMR High Drain 18650 Battery Cell-Made in Japan

Either one of those should work beautifully and give you mind blowing runtimes and be brighter compared to what you get with those Ultrafires.

^ totally agree I've actually got the Panasonic cell from the same place as the link above in 4 of my lights now and they work great!

An XM-LT6 just draws too much current. I run all my XM-LT6 flashlights except one off the Panasonic 3400mAh version and I will be getting the high draw version for my 5 XM-LT6 light. One of the main reasons that these cells are so far superior is that they do not sag voltage nearly as hard as the Ultrafires will and your light will be visibly brighter for way way longer. On my bench supply my standard XM-LT6 flashlight starts dropping lumins when the input voltage falls below 3.5V and I can guarantee the Panasonics will hold above that for many times longer.

Its definitely worth the cost in a $70 light. Hell, its worth it in even flashlights like the $13 ones I have all over the place from DX lol.

yeah got to love those DX flashlights. just got the UltraFire SH98 which was a cheap but very good quality XM-T6 light for the $10's or so. i accrual like it more the the S4 1000 lumen because it's focusable, well built, and has a nice weight to it.

My favorite are the WF-502b flashlights. They are bright as hell and solid but still manage to be cheap.

The orbtronic batteries are great... kind of pricey though... if you don't mind waiting a bit longer you can get the panasonics a lot cheaper.

Also something else to bear in mind... with protected or unprotected batteries... SIZE... most likely not an issue, but the orbtronic protected cells BARELY fit into the wf139 charger, and panasonic protected batteries don't fit at all. The 14500 orbtronic protected, I can't use for some of my 14500 lights and lasers... it's too damn thick.

So if you don't mind would you share the info on the other source. I'm quite the patient person now a days.

I too would be interested in a source. I found them on DX for cheaper but I am not into the month+ wait time.

Where's the quantitative data? What's the operating current? At what voltage does the driver drop out of regulation?

This flashlights have a duty cycle ? I Never used it before.

On the low power modes, it can be on continuously. But on high mode it heats up pretty fast after about two minutes. I'm sure the diode can take more heat but I prefer to stop it before a minute.
