I had said some things about other pen builds I have been working on mostly involving single modes in other threads and when I would post them but the truth is I was misleading as I have exactly 10 builds for our 10th anniversary because someone should do something right?:)
Put it in the reviews section because it covers so many wavelengths.

I give you in the order of wavelength:
405nm S0J6 700mW x-boost
405nm bdr-209 700mW x-boost
445nm A140 900mW x-boost
450nm PL450B 322mW x-boost
450nm PLP450 380mW x-boost
515nm NDG4216 181mW x-boost
532nm Fasttech 126mW driver came with it
638nm ML520G55 280mW x-drive
638nm HL63603TG 233mW x-drive
658nm LPC-826 380mW drive from a Fasttech 532nm

I do have a PL520 (520nm) and an NDB7242E (440-455nm) coming this week that I will add plus there's a second LPC-826 658nm at 380mW that I'll show that I haven't yet:)

For build pics you can take a look at these links as they show my "technique":
http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/tried-new-lpc-826-build-works-great-96639.html
http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/laser66-leadlight-lpc-826-build-96563.html

http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/pltb-450b-laser66-build-led-indicator-96212.html

Try to understand that I have about 170 pics from these builds so it's a bit confusing for me and I'm certainly not going to post that many pics.

Ok, just so I'm clear the ones outside the case are the ones I've already shown. There are MANY more pens but they are older builds than these:

These are the new ones. The order is the way I listed them above:

First 2 are 450nm and the right one is 445nm. Too hard to see any difference this bright. The point is look how bright the 322 and 380mW single modes are next to the 900mW MTM:

Cool how this 450/515 shot makes the colors shift a bit:

515/532nm:
In this shot with the 532nm on the left the colors look alike next to each other and very bright. Remember I have a 520nm coming this week and I'll add that:

Now in this shot the 515nm is on the left and you can tell the difference a lot better:

Will add the 2 pen builds that I have parts coming for when they arrive this week so there will be a 520nm and a 440-455nm in there. I do have those already but not new so it wouldn't be fair to add them.

Happy 10th LPF!

What, only 10 builds, you're going to have to pick up the pace a little bit!
Seriously though Pete, very impressive, it's nice to actually see all those builds you were talking about.
:gj: and :kewlpics:

Aren't you worried about burning holes in your tv screen? Nice pics otherwise.

Good work, you have the most powerful shirt pocket laser pens around.

Someone could give you a hug with those in your pocket and set your shirt on fire. :)

Fine, here's the bonus builds:
In order we have a 75mW Fasttech 532nm, 100mW Fasttech 532nm single AAA unit custom painted and "overclocked to 100mW, Aurora LPC-826 658nm 265mW, bdr-209 405nm 800mW, bdr-209 405nm 880mW, LPC-826 658nm 265m and a Fasttech "overclocked" 154mW 532nm:

Happy Bonus 10th anniversary;)

No, I'm not worried about burning holes in it as it is actually a Behr premium flat white painted Gypsum board:) In front of it which you cant see is a pull down GITD white-out screen for drawing stuff with 405nm:D I can easily explain how to make one for anyone interested.

Shesh Pman One might thing you have a slight addiction to lasers. JK great job as aways

I like to build:) Good pain distraction. Speaking of which I need to go lay down now. It was VERY difficult to sit at my computer desk and do all this.

Great job Pman as usual! The builds look great and so happy you did something for the 10th Anniversary of LPF! Go lay down and I hope the pain subsides. I think I might do 10 thermal videos for today later if I have time! :)

The other 2 builds I had promised.
Here ya go. Just completed these 2. PL520nm at 75mW and the NDB7242E as promised proving this is one strong diode:

Maxed at 412mW (obviously I caught the display at 409mW) at 387mA x-boost s-mini:

Ya know, I'm amazed that I can post this many builds and there's hardly any comments. Is it me or are others really not interested? There isn't even a second page yet and the last comment was on the 16th which was 3 days ago. I could have shown these individually and gotten more interest in each one of those. As far as I know there wasn't another member who did anything special for our 10th anniversary. I am admittedly very disappointed. There's probably a weeks worth of work in all this stuff. I just spent another 5 hours building those 2 additions.

Nice Pete, that 7242 looks good, can't wait to try one out.
It looks pretty violet in the 3rd to last pic, but the one above that looks a lot more blue.
I wonder if being shown next to the 520nm makes it look a bit more violet?
Is that violet color closest to how it looks in reality, or is it more like the blue?

Those particular ones I colored with paint markers I bought at Walmart. They had 2 different sets. Can't remember how much I paid but it wasn't bad. You shake them up and push the end piece in until it gets paint on it. The colors usually dry flat so most of the time I use clear nail polish over it. Nail polish goes on thick and you can get a very wide variety of colors. Just go into a Walmart or department store and see what I mean. They are cheap too.
You can of course use spray paint and I have but you usually waste a lot and it costs more. Huge variety though especially in the cool metals in the auto section. Go to an auto parts store for those though as there's a much wider selection there and you can buy the little touch ups too. I actually changed the color of the 520nm one to a deeper metal green that I believe was spray painted awhile back but it may be nail polish. I'll need to take a pic and show the paint pen colors I have and some other lens holders I finished but haven't used yet.
Yeah I know Jeff, the color is confusing as are most beams once they get next to another color. I was too tired to take any shots next to the 204mW one I built but I'm also hoping to get one more and set that one much lower (maybe 50mW).
Take a look at the beam spot though. Yes my camera can't handle the spot so it blooms but it is nice and doesn't have that small bright bar inside a dimmer bar look of the single mode 520nm.
Need to try and compare it with other single mode blues I have next to each other and see if I can detect the difference with my eyes to see if it's worth trying to take a pic. Just too warn out and I'm going to sleep momentarily.
I seriously need to make a Pman informational thread on build tips with pics and links of stuff I've come across over the years. Should have the time to do it now that my single modes are built.

The thread that the blue diode is on is here with the test data I did on it. Had to add the same pics there to show it in action:
