Cool. Would you, or anyone who already has this host, happen to know or remember how wide the pill was? I was planning to use Moh's 16mm round driver for this. If not, then I guess I'll just use Lava's Groove V2 driver at 450mA.

I don't know the exact dimensions but it is a 14500 host so the pill is going to be smaller than a 18650 host's pill.:beer:

Hmmm... In that case, I sure hope a 14mm Groove V2 driver will fit XD
I don't want to pay any extra for a micro flex drive, but I might have to if the Groove is too big lol.

What kind of diode do you plan to drive with the groove? You do know it is a linear driver and this is a single cell host?

The grove has a 1.2V dropout so even with say a 635 with a 2.8V forward voltage would need at least 4V to stay in regulation. That would not give much runtime before the current starts dropping if any run time at all with a Li-Ion fully charged to 4.2V.

Oh snap:O Sorry, I'm kinda new to the world of lasers and forgot that I have to use a boost driver for a single battery. I was actually planning to use your 12X 405nm S06J Diode! Haha. In that case I will use the ben boost driver. It should all work out :beer: I hope...

Can I use this driver "1.7A FMT V2 constant current buck/boost laser driver for M140 445nm laser didoes" that you sale on your ebay account?

I am not sure it will fit in that host. It is a pretty tight build and the Flexdrive was just perfect to get in there.:)

I can't believe I never saw your mini 445 in that trust fire host. My "tiny ~700mw" build is in a very similar host, but I had to have mike make me more of an external heatsink since the host diameter was about 14mm, it's a 10440 host thus the low profile. Awesome work as always Jordan! About to get paid and I plan on grabbing a fair amount of gear off of your store :beer:
