i did every single step kipkay told me. it will project a laser
thats bright but wont burn why? :'(

Did you do the minimag mod, if so then take your laser diode out of that thing before you kill it, you can't just connect it directly to the batteries, you need to make a driver for it. ;)

The other thing about burning: focus is critical.
If you did the Kipkay hack, then you're using an aixiz module. You need to focus down to a pinpoint, not try for something more than a few feet away, and it should be something black or of a color that absorbs lots of red.
