Oh it works, I must admit I had my doubts when I started but until it is finished, and I have taken some photo's to proove it, you will have to take my word ;)

hi rog small idea
you have possibility to measure the output?

I think about making it focusable!
First lens must expand the beam, second lens do the kollimating.
In this case the first lens has to break the beam to a diode like output angel, maybe one of this small fl lenses from sled to get at least 40 degrees.
After that a standart aixis lens must work just like in normal case.
Can this work or its imossible because of the different wavelength?

For sure this is only try worthy if the output is high enough. :-/

I think you have hit the nail on the head right there.

This one is purely a concept build, to test myself and my abilities.....to keep those brain cells working.
At the same time I hope it will enthuse others to try for themselves.
