Hello people :)

I have just harvested my first LD from an old CD player, alltough I don't know what kind of laser diode this is.. according to the label it is a class I laser.
It as 3 pin out and these where the lens that came with the LD.

hmmm this CD player is about 15-20 years old..

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this thread..

Absolutly!! I'm trying to gather all the components to start my first project, and the LD is what is missing.. and my brother just throw away a dvd player few months ago... :banghead:
