What happened to The Build Guide - By Andrew

Hope I'm not steppin on toes but I was wondering what happened to this thread? I think it was a sticky in this section. I had it bookmarked because it was a wealth of information for a noob like me.

Oh, sh#t. I didn't realise it had gone missing, last I checked, it was there.

It was a sticky, and the link I've followed doesn't work either.

Thanks for bringing it up, I've been so tied up I wouldn't have noticed either.

I do have a backup (text only), so I'll try and get it online again as soon as possible, once I find out what's happened to it.

UPDATE: Turns out, well, it was deleted because it contained a reference to Crapio. It was one line ( "A130/A140 Projector Diode"), I don't see why an edit wouldn't have sufficed. Just goes to show how anal Crapio's lawyers can be. They can stick a 12" bargepole up their pooper and suck it.

LOL. I'm not entirely sure what a bargepoll is but I imagine I agree with your statement. I don't get it really? Wouldn't this forum promote sales for them. They must have issues with the safety aspect of DIY projects made from their products.

Well I sure do hope that thread can be brought back easily with the proper edits. I enjoyed it very much and I'm sure others would too.

Could the guide be remade without any crapio references maybe even without any AXJ130/140 references as well, I really enjoyed that guide.
