Hello there everybody, iam a doctor. I want to assemble a laser for surgical treatments.i belong to a middle class family so i cant afford costly laser equipments. So i want to assemble a laser equipments my requirements are fiber coupled laser diode module 1W 650nm pilot beam with 7W power at fiber end, fiber size 400 micron average,the problem with me is laser module is available but how do i make custum output watts controller with laser driver which can regulate laser power from 0.1W to 7W, meaning adjustable power watts in steps of 0.1W.so pls pls pls experts guide me...

If you are a doctor you could afford to buy licensed surgical equipment. No need to go on the cheap way.
What happens in middle of the operation if your laser stops working ? Tell the patient to come back next week ?
