jake21 said:no problem thanks guys for the help so ill just set it on "DCV" and measure across the resistor
i would of :'( if i blew another driver ;D

PS... Dave you must be typing with both hands and all fingers...
I just can't respond fast enough using only 1 finger... ;D

Talk about "tunnel vision." I didn't even "look" at the "AC side" of the meter :-[
The DCV setting would work much better
The "battery test load" setting was just the best choice I saw on the "DC" side of the meter
Peace,

Just checking that you were on your toes.... :I think you mean.... AC mA... rog...

I bought it for ~US$15.00 on amazon.com, and was a bit skeptical given the price, but I've gotta say it's been a great little meter. Highly accurate (compared to my Fluke) and well built.. Never heard of iEquus or Innova before, but I'd buy another one for sure. Maybe even before I'd buy another Fluke meter..
