Ohk so i picked up my battery from the guy at batteries+ and he said the charge said 4v and i put it in my laser and it worked for a few seconds and cut off on high power again. and i just went with that because i felt i shouldnt take up anymore of his time. so when i got home i was able to use it again but it kept cutting off at random times not just high power mode and sometimes it wouldnt turn on at all but i managed to light one match with it and when i shut it off and went to turn it back on i got nothing. the LED lights did not turn on or anything. is this due to my battery? or is my laser broken? what can i do about this because WL does not return my phone calls.

You should have just posted this in the other thread that you started so eveyone that didn't read your other thread knows what is going on.

It could be that your battery is bad or your laser is having problems. Some of the batteries that WL sent out are a real piece of crap, some have exploded. So I would try to get a new battery first, then if you still have problems you should then contact WL. If you would do some research you would see a lot of the problems that these lasers have had. http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/32-reasons-not-buy-wicked-lasers-arctic-s3-56289.html#post794342

Only one of the green batteries exploded, and they're no longer shipping those, they went to IMR cells (orange) for a bit and are now shipping pinkish red Sanyo protected cell.

I know the Sanyos are good, forgot to ask which one he had. It doesn't matter which one it was I have seen new rechargeables be bad. We got a shipment of rechargeable batteries at work and got some that were bad.

It sounds like an electrical issue if the led's wont turn on. I dont think it is broken but it does probably need a repair. You should see if a member on here will repair it for you for a small fee. If it is the battery then you got unlucky twice but i doubt it. Some people had the lead wires come off their diode so perhaps this is the case. Does the led's come on when you manage to get it to turn on?

yes my LEDS come on when i do manage to get it to turn on when it first started he high power mode would cut the beam off and then all 3 LED lights would blink at the same time and after a few seconds maybe a minute of this blinking it would basically "reset" but during the blinking i could not do anything with the smart switch i could only turn the device off and then back on again. but now I'm not even getting any indication that its getting power

I ran my G2 till the battery expired to see what happens. It lasted 1 hr 20 min with the stock Sanyo battery. It went out and the 3 diodes were blinking.
You should get a volt meter and see where the battery is at. Fully charged it should be ~4.2V. The laser cuts off at 3.6V. The latest WL chargers have been failing almost everyone.
