Soldering iron stand....

I cannot find the thread where someone was looking for a soldering iron stand....I found one reasonably cheap at a radio shack that was going out of business ! If you (whomever you are !!!) are still in need of one, I think it was 40% off of their retail price, so let me know if you still need one If you don't need one - let me know, too ! I'll probably put it into use if it is not needed What's one more piece of equipment on my desk ? LOL !! BTW - it is the spring type stand, with the cleaning sponge in the base....

Hey Sen_Kat, I wish you had found that sooner. I just bought one from Radio Shack, called Helping Hands, with the 2 arms ending in alligator clips, & an adjustable magnifying glass. It's a pretty handy little device, & it also has the spring soldering iron holder & base sponge. I'd recommend it to anybody that solders a lot. phoenix77/rob
