And i want to know if anyone has experience with building it...
I can't seem to find a driver that will work off of 1xAAA, and the flexdrive won't fit :(
I know for a fact it has been done... Does anyone know if there is a battery half as long as a AAA, so i could use a rckstr driver and 2 3.7V Half-AAA batteries?
Any help is appreciated.

hey guys, new to the forum and lasers but thanks to you guys I am getting more familiar with this stuff. I've been trying to find stuff about about the rkcstr driver but its kinda hard to come by when using a dorcy driver. I kinda wish i would have looked around first before getting everything because it seems the lava driver is the one everyone uses and seems smaller. So i ended up getting the blu ray 803t, rkcstr driver and im waiting on my batteries 10440's. Im using a dorcy flashlight which requires 3 AAA batteries which will give me around 11-12v, or i might use two of the and a regular battery as a filler, just depends on how things go. I did fit the driver in the flashlight but took a lot of effort, i will get pics up as soon as i can but everything is nice and neat. just a quick question, ive tested out the driver with the diode but im only getting like 50ma is this because im using regular alkalines? thanks for all the info and help

AW has a AAA width battery that is a few millimeters above half AAA size, and one that has a few millimeters below half AAA size. (10280 and 10180, respectively)
I found the 10180 cell for $4 :D
