Hi, I have been using my two 445nm 1W+ - lasers for a while now, and have noticed some 'splash'. To be more specific, it's like a bunch of dust particles that you can see when aiming at a wall, I tried to clean out the diodes and lenses with mini lens cleaner, and compressed air, it worked a little bit, but It's still very noticeable, I cannot post a picture because I don't have a HQ camera that can capture it correctly.

Please help, thanks in advance.

It's probably normal. There's not much you can do about it.

Does the effect persist if you switch to a different (new or clean) lens? Assuming of course that you have some lenses in your parts bin ... You might need to remove your lens and try a camera lens cleaner on it. Any dust or fogging of the lens (from atmospheric pollutants) can cause this undesireable effect.

You can see which part has dirt. Turn the lens and if the dirt moves with it then it is on the lens. If the splash is stationary then it is on the diode.
