Small request - Soldering tutorial

When recently building my first PHR-803T laser, I noticed a distinct lack of help directly focused on how to properly solder a diode to a driver or a spring to driver- all important to properly making a laser. I think it would really help if someone could make a quick guide on how to solder those specific parts properly.... I suck at soldering so don't look at me!

I hate to be demanding, but I think this could really help people around here and prevent them from frying their parts. I know guides online exist on how to solder parts, but nothing was quite the same as soldering pins to a driver.

I typed in "how to solder" into the google search box below the ads above. The first link contains that information, so really, why was that so hard?

My only complaint would be that C0ldfire ought to make the title of the individual pages contain more information about the topic, instead of just "Laser Pointer Forums - Discuss Lasers & Laser Pointers" for all the pages.
