Thank you for posting these cheaper builds! As a newbie I would like to build a few cheaper lasers for practice before dropping big $$$. This definitely gives me inspiration that I can get a few builds done without breaking the bank :) Quick question though.. with these smaller.. cheaper builds do you get to work with all the different parts that you would with your bigger builds? and lastly with these smaller builds will you get lasers that give you a visible beam?
NOTE: I'm still in the research, lurk, and learn stage.. but thought I would ask while I was looking at these builds.
THANKS!!!!!

In general you are working with simpler pieces/parts and figuring out how to fit them together. Tends to be bigger pieces such as a complete laser module rather than buying diodes and drives which can get expensive quick. 532nm at even low powers is pretty impresive and an easy choice for low $ builds. Must have noticed that every single one that I posted is a greenie.
Everyone should feel totaly free to comment. I don't want this to be about what I had done at all.

Isaac, congrats and let me know what you would like. Need to try to sleep but ill check early in the morning if you made any decisions. Just don't forget to give me your mailing info.

That's a lot of lasers there!

I can totally identify with why you have labels on them.

Too many to remember...

Those are my "inexpensive" cases;) My other ones don't belong in this thread.

Yes, way too many to not try to track in some way. All written in a "ledger" with pertinent info.

No decision yet Isaac? Hard to choose with so much stuff on their site:)

No one seems to want to post anything.... disappointing

Haha, I just wish I had anything to post. Might have to buy one to hold me over until I learn how to build them

Yeah, they have some nice lights and if you are thinking about 18650, the Panasonic B (for longer runtime) or the PD (10 amp draw) are fantastic choices and I think I have 4 or 5 pair of each but the choice is COMPLETELY yours.
I won't be able to do the order without throwing in an "extra":)
The order will go in first thing early morning if you make your decision by then. You won't be "waiting" on me to put it in.

Since noone seems interested, giving Wannaburn second and third postings award. $35 now to spend Isaac when you're ready.
If you want, I could just send the $ to your paypal as a gift but then I don't get to pick an extra to send in the Fasttech order:)
Whatever you would like my friend.

Yeah, it always makes me laugh. I still remember how seriously I went about wrapping the screw and soldering the wires to it and then hot gluing like a champion. When someone said "Hey what is that screw there for?" I knew I had made a grievous mistake! Lol :p
