Setting my driver??? help.

So i have a rkcstr adj. driver and i have a dummy load tester already solered and ready to go. now i am just looking for the right steps to take so i dont hurt anything during setup and setting the driver. any help would be great. thnx. i can leave pics of the heatsink and power source if needed.

Make the connections like in this picture

Then just read the mA and turn the pot until you get the value you need. Then replace the test load for the diode and there you have it

the only change I would make to the above drawing is:-

For setting the current for Blu-Ray LDs use 6 rectifier Diodes and for
setting the current for Red LDs use 4 rectifier diodes..

i have it all connected i just dont know what setting to put my dmm on and how to read it.

Set it to 200mV or 2volts...
each mV is equal to 1 mA on the DMM...

i just keep getting the same number. 4.8? wtf? am i taking the reading from the right point? the 1ohm resistor that is soldered on the the dummy load? what am i doing wrong?

yeah im taking the reading from the 1ohm resistor. i keep getting the same thing. 4.7 or 4.8. idk what could b wrong? any help? i have my dmm on 200m.
