Hey all,

I have a spare 500mW greenie module that is just giving me the red light when powered on. It is a strong light ( I looked with my goggles on.)
My question is...I know it is hard to line up a crystal piece...but in theory if the driver is giving out a red powerful light...should i be able to *crosses fingers* line it up to have a working beam?

With a bit of research and reading on the Forum you
would know that any redish light coming out of a 532nm
Laser is Infra-Red...

The IR pump diode in your 500mW 532nm laser is probably
between 2-3 watts (2000mW to 3000mW)...

Be careful with that low power looking VERY HIGH POWER
red output.

I am aware of the power levels...I am just trying to get some input on what the best way to line up the circular piece with the small green square to get a beam
