After reading some other threads I'm strongly considering getting a 16X BDR-209DBK module now too lol :)

They just look real slick.. I think I'd be better off this time with the 3 element lense though. That will give me slightly less power but better divergence correct?

The BDR-209 is a single mode diode so the only real difference between the three element lens and a G-2 will be power vs cost. It is on multimode diodes where you get a elongated output and the three element lens will cut off the edges to give a less elongated spot. :beer:
