I talked to him the other day. You can find him if you really need him. He is head deep in some projector stuff over @ PL and has not had time to get over here lately.;)

Please use the edit button.
Remove the tail cap and try using a piece of wire to make the connection, try going through various sizes of wire, it may be that the resistance of the spring is influencing.

It says 10A but it wont read over 2A without freaking out.
That's why there are expensive and cheap multimeters. :yh:

Toaster;

I'm leaning towards a microboost driver issue.

Do one test for me.

Discharge the AW cell to 4.0 VDC.

Charge the LG cell to 4.2 VDC.

They should have the same capacity at that voltage level.

Run the laser duration test & post your results.

P.S. I sent you two 18650 Sanyo's today.
They have lower IR than the LG cells.

Your not contributing a lot in that post either ;) Even If I do get in the "Vet" section, Im probably not going to be posting.

When I post, I make it more of a converstaion than a report, if I can. I don't come here to get a grade, I come here to talk.

Here is the video. I am tired as shit, just woke up a bit ago. The video is really crappy but the point is clear, IMO.

Toaster;

Both cells are flashing long before they should (@ ~ 4VDC).
(They still have 90% of their energy unused)

It is a voltage level issue with the microboost driver.

The 2600mah Sanyo's on the way to you, will perform better with low IR,

but none of your cells can provide their full power to run the diode.

LarryDFW

P.S. Switch resistance is also high @ 1 ohm.

Ridiculous.

My patience with your attitude has reached it's limits, I tried to be nice and helpful but you are just about the most ungrateful arrogant little prick I've met on the internet and that's saying a lot.

I know I'm not the only one that feels that way too.

Enjoy the rep, you earned it.
