You know, I just realized, but since this laser is putting out 512mW, it is now classified as a Class 4 laser. :eek:

Well, i'm gonna go back to eating Nutella.

LOL ;D My mom used to make peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches for me in elementary school. I haven't had the stuff since, but I remember it being very tasty!

Guys, this is getting ridiculous. You've obviously hooked up the wrong laser meter head to the meter. It's off by at least an order of magnitude.

I think I found the problem after peeling back a few labels.

Where are the beamshots?
Is 512mW much more visible compared to 200mW?
Beamshots say more than a thousand words about the beam :)

Jay has shown us the comparison between 150, 171 and 384 mW in the "BR & Violet lasers - New High Power Blu-ray Sled! - SF-AW210 Graph!", reply #54. It would be exceptional to have a similar comparison by adding also the beam of this 512mW monster! :D
