PHR Question...

Why wont my phr burn all the way through a black plastic dvd case? my red one will eat through it in 2 sec. but my phr just cant get all the way through. its running off a rkcstr v3 at 119ma with an acrylic lense. any thoughts or help would be great. thnx.

Ordinarily, red DVD diodes produce much more power than a PHR.

yeah figured it was just that. the red just puts out more power. its focused as good as its gonna get with what i got. i need a 405-1 lense bad. i have 2 phr's and both have acrylic lense.thnx

one more question...should i open up the back of my axiz acrylic? its closed up at the moment. will it make that much of a diff.? please help...thnx!

Yes open it up. It will give you a few more mWs.

The main thing with Blu-Ray is focus, as said. But you need some goggles to see if its focused correctly. The blase, and the fact our eyes don't see 405nm light really well makes focusing difficult.
