panasonic SW-9588-c dvd burner 2 laser

anyone has the any info of lasers on this Panasonic SW-9588-C drive?
i took apart one before i was interested in lasers, but i remember seeing 2 laser diode inside.

One is a higher powered red diode, and one is an Infra-red diode, most likely in the 780nm range. Fairly "standard" fare...as long as it is simply a dvd burner, that is most likely what is inside.

is the NIR laser diode burning capable with aixiz module? can Daedal's driver drive it safely?

Honestly, at the power it puts out, I wouldn;t even bother messing with it - Near-IR is very dangerous, as you tend to try to focus harder on it, and then next thing you know - you will have black spots in your vision. My advice is to dump the Ir diode in the trash, and mess with the other one if it is still any good. I throw out IR diodes all the time, and I have protective goggles available to use - but why messwith them at such a low power - bah...garbage can for me
