ok so i was looking for diodes

and i came across a list of places and just looking through ill there were about 3 that were mesured in CM not mm
ie:


Manufacturer Part Number :GH06560B2C

Description:LASER DIODE 658NM 60MW

Manufacturer:Sharp Microelectronics

Wavelenth: 658nm

Power (Watts): 60mW

Package / Case: 5.6mm Round

how ever the outher one says a huge size also the voltage is 10-15 volts while the one above is 2.6 volts

Description:LASER DIODE 670NM CLASS IIIA

Manufacturer:Industrial Fiberoptics

Wavelenth: 670nm

Power (Watts): 2.8 ~ 3.2mW

Package / Case:5.6cm x 7.5cm x 22cm

just kinda wierd since its for the diode and its not that big right? lol

Thats help for Administration and member problems. go to " Tutorials, Help & Repairs" thats for lasers, thats why its under "Lasers" not other.

it sounds like a C mount diode, they are really big... and not that useful unless you have all the equipment to use them. i think they're for more industrial type lasers
