Ive got the pot jacked way up and the lense as focused as possible on my PHR 803T but it won't burn and I'm sad.

EDIT: The beam is warm to the touch and my DMM reads it at a max of 90.6 degrees F.

I have just noticed that you have 3 threads going which are all related to the same laser

In one you say you cannot focus it, yet here you say it is focused
In another you say that the driver is not giving enough power.

It would be far easier to help you if we had all the info in one place and without contradictory information.

Lol I know my bad. Ight I'm using the micro flex drive and I got the drive to put out the ma that I wanted ( my test load was all rigged and stuff) I'm using the aixis modual and a CR123 lithium. When I focus the lense to a small dot from about 2 feet away but when I shine it on the wall accrost the room it is a huge dot the size of a volley ball. The batteries are brand new and the laser is not getting hot enough to burn anything. Disregard all other posts. Thank You.

That is what I would expect, if you are focusing to a fine point it will expand again beyond that point....
See drawing....

You are expecting a dummy load from laserbee, when it arrives use it to find out exactly what the driver is doing, once that is sorted out then we can start to look at why you cannot get it to burn.

KK sounds good. Uhh this may be a dumb question but which way does the lense go into the aixiz module because i think i might be sticking it in wrong?

One end of the plastic nut has a screwdriver slot across it, that should be sticking out of the module.

Yes it will make a difference, did you open out the hole in the back of the lens as that will make a difference as well.

To answer your question about the way a lens is used ( frontward or backward) & whether or not that will affect its burning abilities; If you wear glasses or contact lenses, hold your glasses up to your face so that you are looking through the side that normally faces outward. See a difference ? If you DON'T wear glasses, pick up a set of binoculars or a telescope & look through them backwards. See a difference ? As far as I know, about the ONLY lens that will give you the same view regardless of the WAY you look through it, would be a single element ( one lens ) Magnifying Glass and even then, the magnification tendencies are a bit better when used looking through the lens from the correct side. Please remember that this is just MY opinion. If I'm wrong, I will take any correction happily & constructively. I don't want to give out information that is incorrect to anyone ;) Thank you, rob

I flipped it around and it puts little black marks on a blanket and smoke comes up but it will not light a white tipped match with a cardboard stem. I will try cuting out the hole to allow more light in.

Thank you.
