They use much more input voltage than red. You would need to make a voltage boost driver to run off of 3 AAAs.

Thank you for the advice, I greatly appreciate it! If you could please provide me with a link for a DIY voltage boost driver, that would be very helpful. Also, what is the voltage input power needed to run a Blu-ray or Violate Diode at full power?

You can test a theory for me then, if you use  2 X TR10440 (rechargable 3.7v) batteries....

You could use the space where the third battery would be for the regulator :)
It would make the build a doddle...

I have a quick question for you. Im wondering do I run your driver directly to the batteries, and when I run the whole circuit im using 2 of these (both plugged in) at the same time? so out of the 3 slot available, 2 slot with these batteries inserted and 1 left with space or space for your driver to be inserted?

Remember that the capacitor and reverse diode will be in the Aixiz housing so you only need to fit in the LM317 and a 33ohm resistor where the battery was.

To solder to the battery contacts, in the holder, you will need to grind/file through the chrome plate first.
