Hi guys I am looking for a laser that I can use in daylight.
Specifically I want an affordable laser that I can easily be able to see the point (which I want to put a 45° lense on so ill have a line)
The laser has to be quite small and ill be needing to put it on an adjustable bracket.
The purpose for this laser is to send a beam flush from the top of one 2x4 to the top of another 2x4 or chalkline, in as wide of an angle (or adjustable) as possible. I want to be able to measure grade between two points without the use of a stringline. The line must be visible in daylight as stated above.
Hopefully I can fasten a chargeable battery pack to the bracket and laser. A housing for 2-4 AA or AAA batteries would be fine too. I just don't know what is best.
Id also like to mount a toggle switch. Im going for efficiency here as well, it has to work well and not be prone to failure.
Color does not matter too much because it is being used as a tool.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am not educated on lasers, and I would like some help here so I don't buy the wrong items and try to make them work.
If you could I like detailed information, such as wattage and output
Also if there is a regular lifespan of the laser if used on a daily basis that is good information as well.
Safety is also a big concern here, gotta make sure that it is not harmful to look at.
Im good at soldering, but haven't done too much electronic component soldering, what solder and flux (if flux is needed) is recommended?
