Need help on Laser Module

I have just received the following laser module from standstone11. The question I have is:
Is the spring positive or negative? I can't tell from looking at the PCB. Next to the PCB or two locations marked as shown. My gut says the spring is positive but I want to check before applying power. Also does anyone know if the small switch is active? Meaning, once power is applied do I also need to press the button for it to illuminate. Thanks,

looks like a newish type if it has a button then yes and the spring should be your negative

I have the module's from there, spring is negative, case is positive. and you're right about the button.
