I purchased the Evolution PRO 20mW green laser from WL through ThinkGeek.com. It arrived February 14 around 7 p.m. and I took four light painting pictures using the laser to draw out the words and what-have-you. The batteries weren't a fully charged set so I decided to swap them out for a fully charged set but just to be safe I waited a bit before putting the new set in and using the laser. Once I put the batteries in, ready to take some more photos, I pushed the power button and nothing happened. I checked to make sure the batteries were in correctly, the key lock was in place, and the endcap was crewed securely.

A few minutes ago I took the endcap off and applied the endcap from my LED flashlight to the laser and it worked fine but there's still an issue. The flashlight endcap doesn't screw into the tube for the laser. All I can do is hold the endcap down while pressing the power button.

If what I have attempted to describe to you all makes any sense please help me try and fix this issue so I don't have to send it back in. Of course, I'm still considering sending it back since I noticed the price difference between ThinkGeek and WL. I got screwed!

Sounds like you have replaced a non protected battery for a protected battery that is slightly bigger ??? possibly ;)
