Hello people,
I have realized that there is like a tiny burn dot mark on the glass of the laser diode. I tried to remove it using Q-tips and alcohol and even acetone, but nothing worked! I'm guessing the laser diode's lens is made of glass? Shouldn't burn marks as such be removed if thats the case? The line without the 405-G-1 glass looks horrible, and theres no way to fix it! What do you reckon I do? Should I replace the diode with a new one or are there ways of fixing this? Also, is it possible that the spot is from within the diode itself? In other words underneath the visible glass shield that protects the internal circuit of the diode? Your help is much need and appreciated. Thanks!
