Before I start, sorry for low-quality pictures, using my laptop webcam as I don't have a camera.
And also, sorry if my soldering seems bad...this is my first real soldering project.

Okay so I'm working on my first laser+driver, and seem to have somehow hit a problem with the driver. I've looked at several guides and videos and asked my engineering teacher if he could figure out what was wrong, but I have no ideas.

Power source is a 9v battery btw. I tried connecting the driver to the dummy load and using the multimeter to check the voltage and get my pot set right...but I always get a reading of 0 volts across the resistor at the test load and 0 at the "reference voltage" (which if I remember the picture right is supposed to be 1.25V) before the pot and after the resistors.

Idk if something is soldered wrong, bad connections, or just bad parts, but I really need some help. :yabbem:

Oh and this is for a red laser...if anything else is needed, or more/better quality pictures, I'll try my best to include it :undecided:

I'm trying to figure out how I can get better pictures...tried using phone camera (5mp) and it's still coming out blurry.

And actually I didn't know that O.O I asked my teacher and he said it goes how it is now...wouldn't be the first time he was wrong, though. Maybe it's just that simple then...lol

Sorry if I'm really bad at this stuff...never really messed with anything electricity-related.
