Need a bit of info on the WL Arctic S3

So my roomie has an Arctic S3 he broke and I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it. It was handed to me with the wiring snapped off of the diode. I resoldered the two obvious terminals but I'm not entirely sure what to do with the case pin. I'm hesitant to fire it up for a test without connecting it to anything. Any suggestions?

You'll probably be better off sending it to someone for repair. There are a number of people who can help you out depending on location.
