my laser pointer(50mw)is dead and i dont now what i must to do to repair it.can you help me? :-?

can you tell us what type of laser pointer it is ? green, red , diode, dpss ? Where did you get it from, has it had any problems before hand ? etc.

if you bought it from a online store such as wickedlasers.com then you most likely got a 3 month warranty

My 50mW died today must of been putting out alot as it was 3x brighter the my metered 50mW CNI pen. The only way to fix it is with another IR diode as your diode is died, is it putting out a faint red glow (remember dont look into it) and as Diachi said WHERE DID YOU GET IT :)

It might not be a dead diode, could be a dead driver, or bad connection, or dud crystals.

But it would help if we knew where you got it from .
