Material to build my 250mW Red Laser

Once i've understood what glasses i must buy.
My Shopping List look like that:
Red Laser Safetly Googles 590-780nm
Driver for 200mW Red Driver
Ultrafire 18650 Lithium Battery whit charger

A lot of Diode 1N4001

1 Ω Resistors
An 5,6mm Aixiz Module holder

This and this is my Diode who was extract from my DVD Burner.
Is all Just? Can I follow this good topic? And this test load circuit?

Yes, looks just fine. What speed burner did the diode come out of? It may be simpler to buy a LPC-826 diode as you may not get 250mW from that diode.

It's too old, i really don't say, But it worked perfectly, before opening it.
I cannot buy a LPC-826 because laser of first class in Italy is prohibited and i think the office customs block it.
Edit: Now i'm looking for where is the diode. But i don't found. There is only one LED and many slides.

Laserdiodes shouldn't be a problem when they are imported. It is the fully build portable laser that is prohibited.

You need at least 20x DVD-burner to get 250mW power. The only sure way is the LPC-815 sled or the lpc-826 diode.

Your red diode from the old dvd-burner will work but power is not guaranteed.

I've found! There is another diode. I thought IR who is 4 pin.
