Hello everyone! It's been a really long time since my last post! The last time must have been years ago. So back then I was ready to get into lasers but some things came up and I got rather side tracked. Now I'm back and ready to learn more. I remember having built a 445nm after some careful reviewing of diagrams provided by Eudaimonium but now I'm not quite sure I remember. However, I have with me a Survival Laser S4 Host with a drilled pill, a blank battery contact board, and an M140 pre soldered to an X-Drive by DTR. Now I am aware that the S4 is a small host, so that I should have a VERY short duty cycle. The only thing is that I've forgotten about wiring and the significance of the case pin. It would seem that wiring changes depending on if the setup is case negative or case positive. I'm not really sure how I should go about wiring the driver to the contact board, but I'm guessing it goes kind of like this:

The flat, negative end of the batteries face the spring side/tail cap and their convex, positive ends face the contact board. Then I just wire the positive on the contact board to the positive on the X-Drive and do the same with the negatives? It's just been a while.

On dtr's m140 diode/driver modules the case pin is neutral ( not used ) the red wire goes to the center of the contact board and the black wire goes to the outer circle on the contact board. Batteries always goes in positive toward the diode which is called case negative . Best wishes for your build.
